May 2, 2024 - Special Committee on Sexual Assault and Harassment in the San Francisco Political Community

The San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee’s Special Committee on Sexual Assault and Harassment in the San Francisco Political Community will meet on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Milton Marks Auditorium, 455 Golden Gate Ave, San Francisco, CA 94102. A security screening will be required to enter the building.

Depending wireless capability at this location members of the public can live stream the meeting on the Party's Facebook page. If we are unable to livestream a video will be uploaded following the meeting.

Item 3: Public Collection of Information
All statements from the public will pertain only to the topics of:

  1. Sexual assault and harassment; and,

  2. Members of the Democratic political community.

All statements from the public will not include:

  1. Naming of specific individuals

  2. Hearsay (not first person accounts, nor witness to accounts)

  3. Cases previously criminally investigated and closed

  4. Name calling or personal attacks.

The Chair retains the discretion to defer a statement to the closed session or to terminate a statement being made in violation of the above guidelines.

Item 4: Closed Session Collection of Information
In the closed session, the Special Committee will hear fully from all witness, survivor, and provider accounts. These statements will be confidential and not released to the public.

Additional Statements
In addition to Item 3 and Item 4, the Special Committee will receive statements online, which may be anonymous at the submitter’s discretion. Statements will not be posted nor made public.
